Friday 09 February 

Meet at Nottingham City Airport, two hours in advance, for your flight to Belfast, departing at 1945 hrs. Upon arrival at 2100 hrs, into Belfast Airport, meet your coach and transfer to your accommodation where you will be based for the following three nights on tour. 

Overnight: Ramada by Wyndham Belfast City Centre​, Bed & Breakfast

 

Saturday 10 February 

Following breakfast this morning, you will transfer and play your first set of tour fixtures against local opposition. This will be at an agreed time.

Matches 1: Local Hockey Sides vs. Worksop College

Afterwards, you will visit the Titanic Belfast Experience, which is a monument to Belfast's maritime heritage on the site of the former Harland & Wolff shipyard in the city's Titanic Quarter where the RMS Titanic was built.

Tonight, included for you is an Evening Meal at Pizza Punks.

Sunday 11 February 

This morning after breakfast, you will undertake a Pro Coaching Session with a local coach who will put you through your paces ahead of the rest of your remaining tour matches. 

Afterwards, you will explore Belfast with a Guided Sightseeing Tour led by an experienced local guide throughout the afternoon. In the evening you will head over to the Dirty Duck Alehouse where you will enjoy an Evening Meal alongside your teammates.

Monday 12 February  

Check out of your accommodation this morning and included for you is a Ten-Pin Bowling excursion, where you will have the opportunity to compete against your peers. 

Afterwards, you will board your coach and transfer over to Cookstown where you will play in your next set of hockey tour fixtures.

Matches 2: Local Hockey Sides vs. Worksop College

Once the match results have been decided, board your coach and proceed onto your next hotel. Upon arrival, check-in to your new accommodation where you will be based for the final on tour.

Overnight: Portrush Atlantic Hotel​, Half Board

 

Tuesday 13 February

This morning you will enjoy a tour of the North Antrim Coast, including entrance to the Giants Causeway, an area of around 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, which are the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption. By the coast, it is one of the most fascinating sights in Northern Ireland. 

At an agreed time, you will transfer and play in your last set of tour fixtures against local opposition. 

Matches 3: Local Hockey Sides vs. Worksop College

Later this afternoon, you will transfer to Belfast Airport for your return flight to Birmingham departing at 2015 hrs. Upon arrival into Birmingham Airport at 2120 hrs, collect your bags and disperse for home.

We assess each component of a sports tour individually, which includes going beyond assessing the adventure factor to ensure risks can be managed effectively. In doing so, we look at how we can enhance the original experience whilst remaining as safe as possible. Covering policy, organisation, planning and setting standards, monitoring, audits, and reviews, our SMS is fully compliant with the requirements of the STF.

This is reinforced by our annual assessment carried out by an STF appointed independent authority. To support our own SMS we also carry out internal regular reviews of our health and safety procedures.
